WHAT CAN SHRUBS BE USED FOR?

Drink

A Thirst-Quenching Drink:  Fill glass with ice, with 8 oz water (seltzer water is the best!) and add one oz. of shrub.  Delicious & refreshing.

Salad Dressings

The “vinegar” part of the shrub makes it perfect for salad dressings and vinaigrettes. Combine equal parts shrub with your favorite oil, herbs and blend.  Absolutely delicious!

Marinades

The bold flavors of our shrubs can be experienced in grilled chicken, fish – great marinades, with great flavor and no unhealthy ingredients.

Cooked Veggies

Looking for a way to switch up plain old vegetables? Shrubs to the rescue! For example, for a flavorful side dish, combine shrub with melted butter and sliced shallot. Pour over Brussel sprouts to cook. These will put other veggie dishes to shame!

Fruity Salsa

Shrubs can make any salsa healthy without losing out on flavor. And who says salsa can only be made with tomato? Dice up some peaches, add chopped red onion, cilantro, and our Peach (or any flavor) for this tasty salsa. Scoop with tortilla chips for a tasty combination of salty, sweet, and spicy.

There are so many ways to cook with shrubs. But these ideas should get you started in the kitchen, whether you’re at home cooking for family or a chef at a five-star restaurant. These are just a few wonderful shrub-spirations for you.
